The moment of catching up an old buddy has beauty of its own. The goodByes said decades ago turned up again to say "Hi" ...When goodBye was said Future had promise and past had memories? cherished memories that I want to cling on to, and now the present? well...a stage to refresh those cherished memories. A stage which is intermediate to past and present. An in-determinant stage ... as nothing is defined with this stage but donno why vedas give such prominence to in-determinant stage.. huh..Present is where we live. Blink and it is past. It is tough to say GoodBye now then and oflate.  But now I sense GoodByes are not forever and they do not mean the end but they simply mean we look forward to meet  again. We never leave anything behind but we take memories and leave behind our footsteps.
     Few days back I decided not to do any official work at home and went on to clean up my room. Uncovering old memoirs, signoff pads..recollecting friends to whom goodByes were said. Names really looked some history.  This is communication era, so thought why not try to contact. Picked up a then good friend, hoping I had the full name took Google's help..Sounds Crazy..Bingo there were quite a few positive results. This is when I realized ugliness of social networking sites publicizing personal info. Anyhow it did not fetch me contact of my friend. Thought itz waste of time. Same day I got a mail from Namesdatabase. I had registered long time ago and ever bothered to use it usually mails left to trash from inbox. With world's time on hand tried to open, luckily it opened up without password linked from my mail. Bingo! I found the name I was searching for. But it said the contact is locked.  Now what??I had to be a paid member or I had to provide 24 contacts to unlock. Again thought it is waste of time. Running with intuition wrote a script quickly to automatically fill all the 24 contacts with some junky random username and server name in couple of minutes. Fortunately nothing went wrong. Used the provision to send message. thatz all i could do. Thought I have lot of better things to do and really thought this ten min experiment is sheer waste of time.
    Couple of days later my friend contacted back. Thought things worked out well. We had chain mails. Usually my calls never exceed couple of minutes but here call exceeded my laptop's battery backup time disconnecting it :). My rapport of reserved & non flirt may have changed. Same old voice, same old glory. Transition from friends to strangers and again back to friends.Technology really works well sometimes.
     Folks, this is how you catch up your old buddies. hmmm...don't get dismayed by old goodByes..but i believe the test of  GoodByes comes when the callee says "I remember you" after long time. As my friend says "Earth has really revolved around to meet up the old buddies!"
